Criticism - Let people speak about you.

"Asking a working writer what he thinks about critics is like asking a lamppost how it feels about dogs."
-- Christopher Hampton

Criticism is Life's truth. You must have seen George Bush's expression reacting calmly to journalists criticism. You must have seen Paki officials reacting on India's statement. Question is not in reacting on criticism, we need to see beyond it. Let's discuss the mindset between these two reactions. George Bush is well prepared to react to such critics. Paki's don't prepare but shown aggression in

the language of fight(Is this my criticism ?). George Bush react not to raise the issue further. Paki react to bounce the issue back to the opponent.

If nobody criticises you, it means you need to brainstorm yourself and work hard. If you are getting criticism contantly, means you are moving correcty. Criticisms are the checkpoints, you have to refuel your engine with it and take off immediately.

I have seen people don't do anything in fear of criticism. This should be avoided. One should always do their work without fear and with 100% honesty.

So whenever you listened to any criticism about you or about your known thing...just don't do anything...absolutely anything. Ignore it and you can interpret that you have not listened to it. Keep silence and let next 30 seconds pass without any comments from your side on the criticism.

Question is how to achieve this? Practice yourself to remain calm. Practice some Yoga and analyse your breathing this will help you to gather some patience during the hot discussion. Try to practice, closing your eyes and learn to see in the center of your eye and feel the darkness deep in your mind. Start practicing it for 30 seconds daily. Do it for 21 days. You will be able to face criticisms.
