Sarasbag - If you are in India, Must visit....

A SARASBAG LORD GANESHA TEMPLE,PUNE

Hi Guys, I got a chance to visit the very famous holy place in Pune, A Lord Ganesha Temple at Sarasbag,Pune. This is the very famous Lord Ganesh Temple built in the age of Sawaii Peshwe. Peshwe's were the old rulers of this City in 15th and 16th Century. Though photography was restricted inside the temple, I snapped some the the pics of the temple premises. There is a very beautiful garden around the Lord Ganesh Temple.

This is the Main Temple

After visiting the temple, if you come down, you can see very beautiful fountains as shown in image below.

Water is stored for fountains and lot of tree leaves were lying in the water. It was beautiful.

I strolled around the temple a bit, and found that a guy was reading something very sincerly sitting on the bence in the temple garden. I snapped it for you.

It was a evening time, and people were relaxing in the garden. Well maintained garden.Good.

A small square inside the garden.

This is really artistic. Can you guess what it is? .....Its an old statue of a indian woman, but it is nicely covered by tree leaves. It looks beautiful.

This four storage building is none other than a heighted bridge with helps people to cross the main street while coming towards thie temple. Not maintained well and you will find couples on this bridge most of the time.

and last but not the least, the main entrance of the temple. Its beautiful.

Speciality of this temple, You can get the blessings of the Lord Ganesha straight from the Street. Yes you can easily see the Lord through this gate from the street.

Yours
